3M™ VHB™ Tape 4918F is a heavy-duty, crystal-clear, double-sided solid acrylic tape engineered for permanent bonding applications requiring complete visual transparency. Unlike traditional cellular foam tapes that contain an opaque, open- or closed-cell foam structure, the 4918F features a 100% solid, water-clear viscoelastic acrylic core coupled with a red polyethylene (PE) film release liner. With a substantial 2.0 mm (80 mil) thickness, it excels at bridging gaps and evening out tolerances while providing virtually invisible bond lines across glass partitions, clear plastics, and architectural assemblies.

Engineered with 3M’s proven firm acrylic adhesive chemistry, 3M™ VHB™ Tape 4918F bonds on contact to deliver immediate handling strength while creating a permanent seal against moisture, UV radiation, and severe weathering.
